LTC Shaw served in the Military for 25 years. This is his 7th year of teaching at Waltrip High School. Colonel Shaw teaches the L.E.T. 2 and 3 cadets, and is also in charge of the Rifle Team in the JROTC program. He is a man of honor and intergrity, and is willing to go above and beyond to help his cadets be successful.

1SG White served in the Military for 21 years. He has been teaching at Waltrip High School for 8 years. 1SG teaches the L.E.T. 1 and 4 cadets. He is also in charge of the Un-Armed Drill team, the Service Weapon Drill team, the Male and Female Color Guard teams, as well as both Female and Male Physical training teams in the JROTC program. He is a very kind and serious man that loves his cadets and motivates them to become better leaders and citizens.
